Man I feel totally out of my comfortable zone doing a final drawing on paper, (nearly any drawing or comic that I’ve posted online has been digital.) It feels real weird not being able to go in and noodle around with everything.
If you’re in Toronto this Wednesday you should totally come to the Toronto Draws Tintin Opening Party at the Steamwhistle Gallery! Details over here: http://www.torontodrawstintin.com/
This comic could have easily read “8 months” instead of 3. It’s been hectic and exhausting year, especially these last three months. I’ve been mostly working, sleeping, not sleeping, despairing, and eating junk.
But now I feel like I’m getting my feet back under me with some nice changes coming up:
1). A really big freelance job is wrapping, leaving time for awesome story-boarding work and my own comics!
2). My girlfriend Leslie is going to be staying with me for months and months!
3). How about that!

I’m all caught up with drawing in and mailing out the packages and I have about 100 copies left. This is the perfect time to order one if you haven’t bought yours yet! I think you’re really going to like it!
Don’t forget that Cat Rackham Loses It! is proudly published by Koyama Press.
Man, thank you so much to everyone who has bought a copy of Cat Rackham Loses It!
This month has been so much more hectic than I imagined. I’m drawing in books and mailing them out but there are a still a pile left and I’m leaving for a 11 day trip tomorrow. I hope you can all be patient!
The good news is that I’ve mailed out about half of the books that have been ordered, ALSO all of the most delayed shipments are going to include free minis-comics.
Man oh man, Cat Rackham Loses It is for sale now! I finally got all of the envelopes and address stickers and everything. They’re ready to go out the door and into your mitts.
I can’t get to sleep tonight, (anxiety, dread), so I just watched the Yogi Bear movie.
So, halfway through the movie Yogi ruins a fundraiser to save Jellystone park, resulting in its closure. Fed up, Ranger Smith gives Yogi an especially dark lecture. I’ve transcribed it:
Yogi tries to apologize to Ranger Smith, “I thought …”
Ranger Smith to Yogi Bear, “Yogi, that’s the problem, all the ‘thinking’. Y’know what’d be great? If you didn’t think. If you could just be a regular bear,”
Yogi starts to cry.
“…sitting in the woods, minding his own business, but, nope, you are different. You’re ‘smart’. You’d rather spend your days being selfish and destructive while everyone else pays the price. But I guess this time it wasn’t enough to just screw up my life, this time you had to bring down this entire park!”
I live in Toronto Ontario and I draw cartoons for the internet, television and books. I do a whole lot of sleeping, staring, and worrying. Also, I have a fat oily barn cat named Haircut who I really love.
